DISTANT
Titanium | gravel | 28"+32" | Pinion C1.12 | Gates Carbon Drive

Designed and handcrafted in Holland

The 2026 distANT is an allround, extremely capable, go anywhere gravelbike. Covering lots of kilometers with ease, be it touring or bikepacking. The made in the Netherlands titanium frame is specifically developed around a Pinion gearbox. Just as advanced as our pANTher hardtail in technical terms. Oversized tubing maintains the stiffness for a sharp handling bike without sacrificing the natural damping qualities of titanium. Our exclusive square chainstays offer stiffness for a maximum durability of the belt drive. And the original CNC’d axANTer eccentric axle mounting for adjusting the belt gives a maintenance free drive line.

The distANT is our most versatile bike up to date. Shine on the gravel roads or go on an off-road adventure trip.

11ANTS BIKES ARE ENGINEERED TO BE LOW MAINTENANCE

OUR SIGNATURE BUILD

Just like the effort in selecting our high-performance materials and the diligence put into our designs, we equally value the parts that make up a complete bike. We offer our Signature Build, with a selection of parts that we feel offer the performance and reliability that is fitting for the pANTher.  It’s also our relationship with the people behind the various brands, that similarly put their hearts and souls in the products they make.

Each bike is built individually and we will take personal preferences seriously. So consider our Signature Build more as a start into a journey that begins with selecting a distANT frame.

GEOMETRY

We find that geometries are very personal. Yet, they are affected by emerging new mountain biking disciplines, new insights in performance, the development of new technologies, and of course parts. As such, proper geometries are not developed overnight and evolve over time. We are not very progressive in our adjustments, and incremental changes are only made based upon serious testing.

TECHNOLOGY

FUNCTION OVER FORM

"WHAT WE DO..."

At 11ANTS we are fortunate to have a tame accountant who does not look over our shoulder during the design and manufacturing process. With great attention to detail we look for technically optimal design solutions with cost considerations (and our accountant) taking a backseat. The axANTer, our elegant and vastly stiffer alternative to the sliding drop-out is an example of what happens when the engineers are in charge.

11ANTS will not present an entire new line up of candy-colored bikes each year. Our current models will continue to be tweaked and incrementally improved upon. That said, we do have a few ideas for 2 or 3 new models which will see the light in the near future.

FUNCTION

Form follows function. We design with ride quality, stiffness and low maintenance in mind. The form of the bike that follows, results from the functional requirements.

INNOVATION

We innovate because standard frame parts do not meet our standards. From tubing down to cable guides, all frame parts are designed in-house.

DEVELOPMENT

Most members of 11ANTS have been riding mountain and expedition bikes for more than 30 years. Our history and experience feeds the direction in which we develop our bikes.

EVOLUTION

Evolution is a very powerful process. Our bikes continue to evolve as we keep looking for better solutions and incorporate feedback from riders.
