At 11ANTS we strive for perfection in design and manufacturing. For discerning riders who want more than our stock models can offer, we can build a special. We don’t keep the specials in stock, each one is made to order and can be tailored to your personal requirements. When more one than customer expresses their interest in a particular design we make a limited edition series, like the mANTis, the pANTher and the elephANT. We are not one to shy away from a new design challenge, so let us know what you are looking for.
2020 DEVELOPMENTS
Our Pinion is a 29er and 650b+ compatible All Mountain fully. With 150mm of rear travel and 150mm – 160mm travel forks up front the suspension absorbs most of what the trail throws at you, while the Pinion & belt drive train results in a smooth and silent ride. In fact so silent that you can hear your tyres squirm when you’re hammering through the corners. The chainstay section is built in aluminium and engineered by Nicolai, with flawless integration for our axANTer PM. The top tube is lowered to maximise stand-over height and of course for the necessary agility. The mANTis climbs as well as it descends, where 1:1 gear ratio in combination with the 4-bar horst linkage provides equal levels of anti-squat throughout the whole range of gears. It offers confidence and will always behave as expected when you punch down the trails. The Topaz T3 Air Shock and low anti-squat design with a progressive rate provides ultimate small bump compliance with good mid-stroke support for cornering/pumping. In short the mANTis warrants that stoke factor and thrill on any epic ride.
3D EYE-CANDY
Take your time and grab a coffee to enjoy this fully animated 3D model of our mANTis Pinion. We recommend you to use the full-screen mode for optimum viewing results. If in any case, you are experiencing problems, first click the home button to reset the viewer, and otherwise please check out the help section (?) to learn more about navigating in 3D on your device.
GEOMETRY
Our mANTis geometry integrates the latest tech from internal gearboxes with long and slack riding styles. We utilise the shortest chainstays for belt drive possible to ensure proper shredding of tight corners, while the slack head tube angle offers confidence in steep descents. We are not very progressive in our adjustments, and as such we only transferred our best practices and lessons learned from the mANTis Rohloff into this new geometry to consolidate an optimal riding experience.
